Smart Food and Agribusiness: Future Internet for Safe and Healthy Food from Farm to Fork

SmartAgriFood is a two year FP7 FI-PPP project which started 1 April, 2011, which addresses the food and agribusiness as a use case for the Future Internet. The project will develop use cases based on extensive user requirements analysis and scenario building focussing on three areas:

Aston's Contribution

The Aston team consisted of Dr. Christopher Brewster and Dr. Liz York, and Aston led the WP 100 on harmonisation and strategy. As part of this we wrote or supervised the production of four deliverables over the life of the project.
